Sales Team Primed to Support Ongoing Expansion of
the TouchTunes Out-Of-Home Entertainment Network
NEW YORK CITY - February 20,
2008 - TouchTunes Corporation, the largest out-of-home interactive
entertainment network, announced today the expansion of its direct sales force following
record growth in 2007. The company also
recognized its Northeast sales territory as Territory of the Year for
2007. Receiving the Territory of the
Year award were Pat Seitz, Dave Kelly and Michelle Ludy, who together achieved
113% of their targeted sales goal for the year.
The team added 42 new customers to the TouchTunes family and was
responsible for shipping 1,499 units, 537 of which were in the fourth quarter. The Northeast team works with TDM
Distributing, Superior Distributing and CNY Coin Machine and the territory
includes all of New England and New York
except for New York City and Long
Island.
To support its growing sales force
and market opportunity, TouchTunes has created new geographic sales zones and
has promoted veteran TouchTunes sales executives to lead each zone. These zone managers have an average of nine
years experience with TouchTunes and 20 years in the coin-op industry. The Eastern Zone is managed by Chuck West, the Central Zone is managed by Todd
Martin, the Western Zone is managed by Evan Steiner,
and the Canada
and Mexico Zone is managed by Mike Jablonski. Dan Clarton,
Director of Sales, is the Midwest Zone (Illinois
and Wisconsin)
manager and is also responsible for distribution management. Additionally, Kevin Claussen was promoted to
Northwest Regional Sales Representative; Nikki Hendricks, former Inside Sales
Manager, was promoted to Director of Sales Operations; and, Michelle Krasinski's was promoted to Inside Sales Manager.
Territories within each zone have
also been redefined. Sales territories
now include: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Lakes, Midwest,
North Central, South Central, Mountain, Northwest and Southwest regions. Additionally, Field Service Representatives,
re-named Technical Sales Representatives, are now assigned to specific
territories.
"With these changes, we have revamped
our sales team and sales territories for 2008 to be even more effective in
delivering the highest quality products and service to our customers," said Dan
McAlister, Senior Vice President, Sales for TouchTunes. "We have also added a formal account
management role for each of our sales managers.
In this capacity, sales managers will work with their operators to identify
new opportunities and to drive increased jukebox revenue."
To further the company's reach and
capabilities, TouchTunes has expanded its sales team with the addition of several
coin-op industry veterans.
Larry Brown is the new Southeast Regional Sales Manager and comes to
TouchTunes with over 35 years in the jukebox industry, of which the last
29 years were with Greater Southern Distribution Co. "TouchTunes has established itself as a
leader in its market and I look forward to contributing to the company's
continued success," he said.
Tim Lacey, the new Great Lakes Regional Sales Manager, has over 18 years experience
in the coin-op business, including the last six years as Regional Sales
Manager for Rock-ola Manufacturing. Tim
also worked as General Manager and partner of a small full-line vending company
and also worked in full-line vending for ARAMARK. Tim said he liked the fact that TouchTunes was
an integrated manufacturer, supplying both hardware and software, and he was
"looking forward to helping the company continue its fantastic growth."
Robert Ramanousky, the new Southwest Regional Sales Manager, comes
to TouchTunes from Merit Entertainment where he was Regional Manager of the
Western US and Western Canada. He said he was "very excited to join
TouchTunes where a clear vision for the future, genuine passion for customer
care, and a drive for success are infectious and will be the catalyst for
future growth."
Eli Backer, the new Southwest Regional Sales Representative, has been
working in the coin-op industry for over 11 years. For the past 10 years he worked in various
sales positions at Betson West in San
Francisco. Of the opportunity, he said, "I'm looking
forward to a strong 2008 working for a great organization like Touch Tunes, and
I'm proud to be a part of a winning team."
Steve Venturino, the new Southwest Technical Sales Representative, comes
to TouchTunes from View Interactive where he led the Product Development
team. Steve has been working in the coin-op industry since 1992 and was
with View Interactive since its inception.
"I love this industry, and I've always enjoyed keeping up to date with
technology," he said. "When Touch Tunes released the Gen3 platform, it
was clear to me that they truly understand the industry, and I knew that they'd
hit a home run. I've spent over a decade in the software and hardware
fields, and it's always nice to see an integrated product that gets it right!"
