TouchTunes Celebrates Scorpions’ Musical 'Comeblack'

ScorpionsOne of the world's most successful rock bands, Scorpions were formed in 1965 by guitarist Rudolf Schenker and have since sold over 22 million records. Best known for their 1980s rock anthem and jukebox classic "Rock You Like A Hurricane," the band enjoyed a number of mega-singles over their 4-plus decade career, including "No One Like You," "Still Loving You" and "Wind of Change." VH1 ranked Scorpions #46 on their ‘Greatest Artists of Hard Rock' program, and "Rock You Like a Hurricane" as #18 on their list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs in 2009. On January 24, 2012, Scorpions are scheduled to release Comeblack, an album born out of their 2010 farewell tour. Designed as a 'thank you' to the band's die-hard fans, Comeblack consists of new recordings of seven Scorpions classic hits plus select covers of quintessential rock hits ("Tainted Love," "Ruby Tuesday"). Timed with the album's release, TouchTunes will celebrate Scorpions's longtime musical success by featuring Comeblack on digital jukeboxes nationwide.

 

TouchTunes Promotes New Kellie Pickler Album, '100 Proof'

Kellie PicklerCountry music sweetheart Kellie Pickler broke into the industry after gaining national fame as a contestant on the fifth season of American Idol. In 2006, Pickler released her debut album, Small Town Girl, which sold over 800,000 copies and produced three singles: "Red High Heels," "I Wonder" and "Things That Never Cross a Man's Mind," all of which appeared on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. "I Wonder" also garnered Pickler three 2008 CMT Music Awards, including one for Performance of the Year. Her self-titled sophomore album was released in September of 2008 and produced her first Top 10 single, "Best Days of Your Life" (co-written with Taylor Swift). On January 24, 2012, Pickler's third studio album, 100 Proof, will be released and presented as a featured album on targeted TouchTunes digital jukeboxes nationwide.

TouchTunes Features Breathe Carolina’s Hit Single “Blackout”

Breathe CarolinaElectronic pop/rock duo Breathe Carolina is comprised of Colorado natives David Schmitt and Kyle Even, who got their start in 2007 self-producing songs on GarageBand. The pair independently released their first EP, Gossip, which was followed-up in 2008 with a full-length album that featured select songs not included on the original EP. Soon after, Breathe Carolina embarked on a tour with punk rock bands Every Avenue and The Morning Of, and later performed to positive reviews on the 2009 Warped Tour. Their second album, Hello Fascination, released that same year, peaking at number 43 on the Billboard 200 and spending approximately two weeks on the chart. This past summer, Breathe Carolina released their third studio album, Hell Is What You Make It, featuring the hit single "Blackout."
